I know CR has a local account. I'll stay for a year and if they a local position open, I'll just switch over. I'm in Dallas and I see their day cabs all the time.
IM ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE!!! Does this sound like a good plan?

i would NEVER go back to a former employer...you were on probation when you mucked up..however long that time frame was...
if you go back expect your probationary period to be far less, and they will be watching you like a hawk, for the first and your LAST muck up.
learn from your mistakes, like REPORTING accidents, and work someplace else.....
always move FORWARD, NEVER backwards.......Another Canadian driver, Bean Jr., JoeyJunk and 2 others Thank this. -
Working for Roehl again should settle any questions for future employers.
As for CRE, I wouldn't work for them, but some might. It depends on what account you would work on. If it is ANY dollar type store, NO. If it was another type of dedicated maybe after I talked to several current drivers on that account at the same terminal you would work from, otherwise no. That's my opinion.Another Canadian driver, Bean Jr. and Albertaflatbed Thank this. -
I second this. It’s like taking back a cheating spouse. Trust has been broken. The relationship you had is gone forever.Albertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver, Bean Jr. and 3 others Thank this.

They're offering me a dedicated Georgia Pacific account. I'll post the details and you guys can give me your opinion.

If anyone cheated in this situation it was the driver, not the company.
The driver didn't disclose past accidents. Whether the accidents were on an MVR wasn't the question. Likewise at-fault wasn't asked about.Another Canadian driver and Bean Jr. Thank this. -

Only 2 days off every 2 weeks would not work for me. 8-4 stops per week or per 2 weeks? GP loads are probably heavy.
