You hear all of this stuff from recruiters about how important the drivers are to the company and whatnot, and 6 months later, theyre pushing new drivers to either do a lease purchase and/or be a trainer....well usually you have to become a trainer to pay for the truck. Dont do it. Dont fall for that trick.
If a company REALLY valued you as a driver and REAAAAALLLY wanted you to be successful as an owner operator, they would give you a monthly truck payment, not a weekly payment...something to where you can go home without having payments and stuff start to snowball and penalize you every time you take time off.
