Sonny, I would really like to meet you someday somewhere, and shake your hand. When you came on this board as a school bus driver, I could tell that you were bound and determined and serious to make this work and do it right. You asked lots...and I do mean lots...of questions about this industry. You have to be the winner of "the wannaba that asks the most questions" award...hands down. But thanks to this board with its wonderful. knowledgeable and helpful members, they guided you to the point you are at today...ready to go solo. They were there for you from the start, and they will be there for you every day. That is what's great about this group. I truly wish you the best my friend. May there be many happy and safe miles for you on the road ahead.

Congratulations on heading towards your career as a solo driver. I'm going to be reading your past posts so I can learn from your experience. I'm surprised that after all of that training you've gone through, you'll be tested again before you can go out on the road? That seems a bit excessive to me, but what do I know?

I'm one of those who will be hanging on your every word when you post some updates. I'm looking forward to reading about your experience, past, present, and future. Thanks for taking the time to contribute so much to these extremely useful boards!

Congratulations of making it through the training phase. I don't know if I could survived that long in such a small space with another man.

Just remember, when you mess up, don't turn a small one into a big one.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...."Trying to do this without the folks on this board would have been extremely difficult." I still had to learn to drive and still have so much more to learn, but the "inside" knowledge about the industry and trucking in general that I gained from the members of this board was invaluable during training. :biggrin_25514:

Oh maybe one or two :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

That sounds like fun! My son in law & daughter would be thrilled. I'd suggest bringing two hot wheel cars for the two little ones so they don't beat your knee caps up. :biggrin_2556:
