Nana, I guess I might have soft-sold the easy part. I think that I had had so much time driving through small towns and villages (thank you, "shortest route" directions!) that doing the little loop-d-loop test out came easy. I have to admit that I left some "sneak in" room on a couple of turns but the tester said it wasn't enough to actually allow someone to "sneak in". I also tested out in a truck (2003 or so Freightliner with 904,000 miles on it) that was really, really familiar. My mentor's truck was a 2008 Freightliner. I felt like I had just gotten into my mentor's truck, minus the crappy clutch. It shifted just right, I didn't scratch a gear at all. And, I'm convinced, it wasn't me, it was good equipment even though it had a lot of miles on it.
(I still get to pig out on chocolate with your brood, don't I? And, the little ones can pick out the Hot Wheels of their choice! I hate getting kicked in the knees!
