I finally got my orientation date. I'm a new driver who just got out of truck school with paper license.
I know there will be a driving test but not sure how hard would it be. Any tips or info will be great.

    Puppage Thanks this.

Thanks. But I'm more like nervous than exciting. Because I heard a lot of people go back to home due to disqualification.

Perhaps, but you're not like a lot of people....you're YOU. And, being nervous is natural, no matter what you're attempting yo do. Ask questions, listen, and study and you got this.

So I just talked to my recruiter about the driving test. It would be 53ft truck with 10 speed. But she wasn't sure about skill test. Do I have to do parellel parking also?

If you have a CDL already you will road test on the simulators.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about the road test. Once you have your CDL you are good to go.

Main reasons people get disqualified is lying on the application, or failing the drug test. If you don't do either, you'll be fine
