I'm a Christian and only God has my soul. I am aware crst is not a great company, I know exactly what to expect, low pay and teaming. I have no bills, etc. I'm getting my cdl if I decide I can't stand it there are plenty of company's that will take me under contract or not. My boyfriend went with a crap company to get cdl then left to go to a different one, got 9 months experience and went to a small company. It's not where you start but where you finish. If you go with a great company right off bat and I don't find one till a year later, how much have you really gained? The point of this is to get my cdl, my first year will be focused on learning and getting experience. If I make 300 a week that's fine, I have no obligations, but within a year I can make what most of you make as in company drivers. God has never let me down and I'd rather walk down a hard bumpy path that's narrow with God than to go down the straight flat road without him.

If you are able to find a partner and make it through training your truck will be a crap-shoot as you might get a brand new rig or an old worn out, nastified POS.
Now here is the secret to CRuSTy, Air Freight or Cat dedicated. If you and your partner can turn 1000+ miles a day and BE ON TIME every time Air Freight or Cat will start to call you. Air Freight has their #### together and will keep you moving. They are very good.....unlike the rest of CRuSTy....and that is where you want to be.
Have no issues (be on time!) and you will get a new truck in short order, especially if Air Freight picks you up.
You can make a decent pay check but it will take a little time to get there. During and just after training don't expect much more than slave wages, a few hundred bucks a week. Once you move up the scale (4 or 5 months? I don't recall how long it takes) a $1000+ is doable.
A fair warning! Be ready to be treated like #### from just about everybody. CRuSTy just has bad mojo and customers really don't give CRuSTy drivers much respect. Even though you get dumped on always take the high road no matter how tough it is. It WILL pay off.
Be on time (I can't stress that enough), neat and clean, professional and courteous and it will pay off.
If you do go with CRuSTy it will be what you make of it; pure hell or a tough adventure. The first 3 -6 months is the roughest. If you can make that you should be good to go.
