    Not really. It's the un-official "free band". You never hear any hams on channel 41. There are a lot of channels outside the official CB band that you won't ever hear anybody on but a "freebander". (Unless your one of those do-gooder, legal beagles out looking for a freebander.) Of course there are those freebanders that get too close to the 10 meter band, run outrageous power and cause hate and discontent where they shouldn't. And no matter what the rest of us do, those type will always be around.

    My understanding was 10 meters starts at 28.000 mHz, CB stops at 27.405 mHz and in between those frequencies are allocated for governmental use. "Channel 41", if there ever were such a channel, would fall on 27.425 or somewhere thereabouts, IMO.

    Correct and there is no ch 41 or freeband unless the goverment chart is wrong.
