Nvm got my hammer and that helped
-
pound them with a hammer after you pull the air button
-
i always walk back with the hammer it is a usual problem
LaBubba Thanks this. -
Rock the trailer back n forth. Usually releases right away
-
Keep some vise grips for the pull bar,and lock em in after fully pulling bar open.
You can also check to see if your springs are broke,if so tap scrap wood into
hole to keep pins pulled. You will be forever getting each hole, but it works.
This is for non air sliding -
OR, you need to put something underneath the lever to allow it to stay up...... i use to put a screwdriver under there....
-
Trans am has air release so their is no lever to pull
-
we still have a few knuckle busters
-
Try some WD40. That works quite often. Start on the driver side and by the time you get back to the cab the WD40 will usually have worked thru the rust.
