Its the stupid doctor doing the physucal thats requiring driver to do the sleep study. The one i went to (concentra) didnt ask abput sleeping habits. Just went by bmi which is baloney. Skin y peiple have sleep apnea also, so why dont they make everyone do one?
Not sure if companies are telling the docs to do this. -

You're just going to have to take care of this yourself. Get a few hundred from a credit union or whatever and buy your own CPAP machine that keeps a 90 day record. After 90 days on it, you can go trucking. A couple of websites have already been posted to you for those supplies and can even get used ones on Ebay. As long as you can show readout of 90 days use, you can go trucking.

Yea my company Schneider payed for me to get the Test done but I was an employee of them at the time when they did it. Idk if they foot the bill as a Pre Employment screen. When I had mine done I was employed about 4-5 months already.

I got my sleep study done for free. I called a bunch of places and they wanted to charge quite a bit. Keep looking and hopefully you'll find something free or at least affordable.
