Okay, so everyone can start posting the good showers, then when Grandad says we're going to stop for the night I'll whip out my list and point at the one I want.
In my dreams. LOL Reality is so different. -
A shower is what you make of it.
Many of the chains are cleaner. It is always a pleasant experience to have one. I have been to some that are not so great.
I could list the ones that were, but there are many.
I have taken some showers in some of the older non chaiin places that you can barely turn around in. Note, I am not very big.Texas-Nana Thanks this. -
Roadmedic Thanks this.

Two showers that come to mind, didn't involve cleanliness.
One was at a privately owned truck stop, I think in Kentucky. Lee-hi? Been a long time.
Anyway, it was pretty nice, until the cleanup guy using a master key just walked right in on me. UH! YOU HERE TO DRY ME OFF, OR WHAT??!?! They really should've had the extra interior locks, so that wouldn't happen. Or, at least he could've knocked first.
And, the second was at a T.A., somewhere on the east coast. I had my driver number and passcode. So, when the call came, I went right in. Only thing is, the lady that was in there was as shocked as I was. How could that dang computer tell me to go right in, when that lady was as naked as could be?
Sorry lady! -
No one besides her husband may have ever seen her naked and it may have been liberating for her. She might even brag about it to this day.
You do.
merely my skewed thought processes- -
It's been a year or so since I've been there, but the Petro in Salina, KS remodeled their showers and are probably the nicest I have seen. All tile walls and floor, lots of room, and of course, plenty of hot water.
-
The top two that come to mind are the Bosie stage stop outside of bosie Id just past the east bound scale, and of course Jubtiz in Portland Or. Both are excelent places and worth the stop.

Just used the shower at the TA in Brookville, PA. Loved it. I rate my showers by how much pressure they have. Nothing like lots of hot water and a needle spray that massages the day of driving away.

Not a true "truck stop", but the showers at Rolling Hills casino are
very clean and large. You have to pay unless you earn 100 points
on the Players club card that day, but if you do pay they are
$10.00................they are in Corning Ca. at the 628 exit
