I'm surprised. He's smart enough to learn from a book how to take a truck down a mountain, and lecture us about it, but can't figure out how to drive a truck, left handed?

I suggest he go to work for one of the starter companies with autonatics. He can probably rig up a fake shifter on his left side, and make vroom vroom noises as he pretends to shift.
