I'm Now Part of the "Schneider Family" - Have an Orientation Question?

Hey female driver, I have some questions.

-How many started orientation, and how many finished? What were the reasons for some not making it?

-You were a student driver, right? How long did orientation last for you? How long did you spend on the road with a trainer? Total days you spent from day one to going solo?

-When did you start receiving pay?

If your just starting out, I'd try something other than the whiskey thing.

 

I can answer some of those questions. In the group I was with for orientation, I was the only one to pass everything 100% the first time thru, hence going out on my own after 3 Weeks. Schneider will not throw you out if you fail one part of the orientation, they'll give you several tries but that'll make your orientation longer. In our group, I did see one guy sent home for not speaking English well enough. As to the fate of everyone else, I'm unsure since I passed everything the first time around, but they are not there to fail you. They'll give you every opportunity to pass and help you with your issues. You spent one week out on the road, but recieved some obstacle course roadtime everyday while in training. You are paid through out the process, if I remeber right, the first paycheck came after about two Weeks.

 

You had to pay for rental car to pick up your first truck?? First I have heard of that. Guy I know went to work for Werner and ended up in pa with his truck in savanaha ga. they got him renat car, 2 nights in hotel and cash for food.

We had to go repo my man's truck and NO we did not get reimbursed for the gas!!!
