they pay for the rental cars.myself and another got a rental car to take home after the 3 weeks of training.i struggle with backing and still passed.i do think that they want you to succeed and have the potential to be a good driver in the future but as female said there are some that just were not safe and sent home

Yes, Schneider paid for the rental.

My truck wasn't quite ready for me Monday, so I got it Tuesday - a BLACK truck with 849k miles on it. Not bad for a newb :) .

I too am thinking of moving into Schnieder. Did the whole local soda delivering gig. The ones that don't pay very well, and work you like a slave, because all they give a crap about is the product being sold and getting to the stores. They don't care that you are tired and near your 14th hour of service. not to mention when you break down they don't have any idea on who to call or how to pay the repair man who comes out to fix your truck. :biggrin_2551:

I bet you'll get a new or newer truck (2010+) withing 90 days or sooner. They try to trade/sell them between 800-900k miles.

    Good luck! :biggrin_25519:

That's one great thing about SNI... lots of places you can get the truck/trailer fixed and lots of OC's for service or just parking/showers. Great starting company IMO.
