I can answer that. If it's frac work they only want you too have a CDL . The work is 80% labor
    and 20% driving.

I went thru thre process there, yeah we going to put in tankers in the oil fields. Than once your there
oh we have to put you OTR until a tanker spot opens or you need more experience. When you travel 1400 miles you don't need any BS about work. The travel into the unknown is stressful enough.
at least for me it was.

uuuugh yeah that would be a definite deal breaker. I mean, they did email me some info and they promised home every night. I guess we will be sure to clear that up BEFORE we head down. But, the way its looking, they aren't our only option.

BTW guys, thank you sooo much for the replies, its a huge help talking to people who know more than a friend of a friend that has a cousin that does this kind of work :biggrin_25520:

Stevens has had that $60k a yr tanker crap on DFW Craigslist for almost 2 yrs continuously. Can't believe anyone would do any business with them, FFE, Schneider in oil patch.

    daniegurizie,

One more thing if you guys too head this way. Don't be affaired to ask the
Others about job openings truck stops, places they stop for lunch ex.
this was the best source during my ten days there. Use the closed mouth
don't get feed method. People are more than happy to tell you the good and bad
    about there company.

    daniegurlzie Thanks this.

I tried to do some research, can you elaborate though? what is no good about them? in your opinion would they be sufficient to get a foot in the door?
