Keep in mind my thoughts are rooted sometimes in stone from face to face encounters with companies over the decades. Most are pretty good. I do know enough to avoid a few. DOT is NOT BAAAD... it's jut not my flavor. Forget I said anything lol. For me to keep quiet would be like the rocks failing to give a thirsty kid water.

Schneider has a fast training program 2 weeks of classroom and 1 week with a trainer before you get your own truck.

I've been off forum for a long time but have a few thoughts that might help. Intermodal is an option for home every night. Pay isn't all that great but it's an easy gig. Drilling site fuel delivery. Pays a bunch of money! Home most nights work like a dog but worth it if you've got the stamina. Salt water fracking pickup again doesn't pay as well but stay local plus kind of fun nosing cattle out of the way getting to the tank farms.
