I don't know how your truck is specd out. But if you don't have heavy duty rear ends, full lockers and power divider, you're asking for trouble. One good rain or snow storm and it's all mush. It's like riding on a sponge on a dry day. Dropping a rear end or snapping a shaft can happen really easy. Nevermind blown tires constantly from carpentry debris that's been pushed over. And keeping the inside of your cab clean is another full time job.

It’s not bad I’ve been doing it now for almost 6 months. Only had 2 drive tires that needed patched

also a long length rain coat, and tall rubber boots...to wear when on top of the trash pile, cuz there is always a wind up there, and one will get "juiced" of all the liquid in that trash, as well as maggots getting all over you

and many times "explosions" from items buried in the trash, like tv sets, propane tanks, ammo, either live or duds, whatever people are throwing away, and hide them in garbage bags or boxes.

and do not forget the mattresses and box springs, get one of those SOBS caught up in your drive shaft, you're waiting for the dozer to yank you out and pull you all the way down the hill.

i did trash hauling, both city trucks (rear loader), and some trailer work.......

best trash hauling job is from transfer station to station and dump it into the pit, for the dozers to scoop up and haul up the hill.
