Well let me tell you I have found my home in trucking! After trying a mega company and then doing containers I needed a change. Trucking seems to be a means to an end for me and I can't stand the way things are going for drivers that work for big companies. So I met a Russian guy at one of my customers and he offered me a job. I was skeptical at first after hearing all the horror stories on here. Went to his yard in Sacramento and boy was I surprised. New trucks, maint facility , and a nice crew.
Just did my first run for him and made $1600 each week from CA to MD and back. He even did a W-2 for me. Not a lot of rules and he let me take load to go see my family in Tennessee. Overall it's working out for me.
So I guess to all my fellow rookies never judge something based on the Internet. I am sure a lot of companies like this are scams but this guy treats me right.
