Take a deep breath. Others have done it before you and you will do it too. Have faith in yourself. You've made it this far.

Truck driving is "gravy" once you get past the first year or so. The first couple of weeks will be the worst of it. Oh, by the way dont expect to make very much money the first year because you wont. I lived off of my saving the first year I started driving but have since recouped the loss.

Hey that job sounds like it offers some good miles! Heck I wish there wasn't an HOS clock at all I would probably never stop driving.

I have worked jobs where men and women worked 12 hour days for 2 or 3 weeks straight with no days off . I've worked with heavy equipment operators working 10 or 12 hours a day in open equipment in all kinds of weather , some in their 60's and 70's .
People should know the requirements of a job when they go into it . If the job requires driving 11 hours a day and 14 hour days be ready to do it or stay away . There's plenty of people out there with the capability .

I'm constantly doing resets. I drive about 10 hours a day and sometimes work up to 14 hours a day. I dont mind. I actually look forward to my 34 hour resets. If the new reset law goes into effect I will slow down a bit and just work off gaining hours back.

you will adjust, once you get on your own things slow down a lot and you will sleep much better without the truck rolling. I was in a similar mindset as you were when I started but now if I'm not maxing out my hours I feel like I'm missing out.
