importing a 53 dry van into the US

    Has anyone imported a 53' trailer into the US? Can you share the proper procedure? thanks.

    Is this ur own wagon ?? Or a custom wagon ? Why on earth other then that would you want to do that ? 53's are a dime a dozen in the US .... and most are in decent shape. Anyway, best bet is per above. Livingstons (who has their own car haul division) is pretty good (obviously) with cross border wheels paperwork.

    bought it in a bankrupcy auction. couldn't pass the deal. that's why. Even after adding custom broker and fees still I am ending with a good deal.

    I have been trying to do just that for some time but can u find a still working 2002 reefer for less than 5000?

    Why would you WANT to.

    I paid about $13K for a 2003 with 9000 hours on the reefer.

    All of the cheap reefers I looked at looked more like mobile storage unit material than road worthy equipment.
