my dealer called me.
I had checked with Trudell, Jim Hawke and a couple others then called and talked with Scott at Crossroads Trailer in Albert Lea MN.
I explained to him what I was looking for and that I was more buying a service place than a trailer. He got my meaning.
He explained to me what he had in a cheap trailer and I had a salesman at Jim Hawke in Council Bluff explain and show me a lot of things on Utility, GD and Wabash trailers and what to look for.
I really would be a GD before anything else.
About a week later, Scott from Crossroads Trailer called me and told me he just got a 2003 GD with a Carrier Ultima in. Asking $13500. he sent me all the pictures I asked for, discussed it with a couple buddies and I told him sold after we came to a fair trade and price.
I signed the papers the next day and picked up the trailer.VIAJERO1A Thanks this. -
And that is what makes this forum PRICELESS !!! THANKS A MILL.
MNdriver Thanks this. -
My trailer is actually an old Decker Reefer that was then used by Winkler.
I'd suggest talking to the buyers there and see if they might have something to sell.
Orr Trucking in Grimes IA is also in the process of selling off their reefers too. -
checking ORR, thanks again
