Im thinking about buying a used truck from a dealer in Canada. Does anyone have words of advice, I have ZERO knowledge of the process. What taxes, import duties, etc will I be facing when I try to cross the border and register it when I get home?
Thanks for any info.

Everyone around here used to do that.... Not so much anymore . I heard something about having to pay full fet on original selling price of the truck. But I might be wrong......... I would think FLATBED , or the other guys that run a lot of Canadian loads would know.
Guntoter Thanks this. -
Have the dealer put it on US ground. You can pick it up on this side of the border.

Call the dealer in Canada. I am sure they may have done it before and might know what is involved.

I am going to call them today but I thought they might be a little less than honest if its an expensive and time consuming process. Im going to ask them for a price with the truck sitting on U.S. soil. -
Been there and done that and won't again so after all said and done, this is the best advice -
