    I do know i had a 89 k100e with a 3/8 frame and another with a 5/16 frame.

The 5/16 frame truck rode little better.
I contribute that to more flex in the frame. Both trucks had same suspension front and back .

I attribute the good ride mine has to the long leaf springs under the front among other things. I suppose replacing shocks when they're worn out helps. All of my wheels/tires & brake drums are balanced. I center the wheels on the studs with sleeves. My wheelbase isn't the best (for a great ride you need 265" or longer) but #### this truck rides good. Like he says it's a myriad of things that make one ride well or not. Weight distribution of a load is a factor. Empty or loaded.....

I've got a similar issue with one of my trucks. It's a 08 heavy spec prostar and when you hit big bumps, the back end snap is out of this world. It's like someone smashes the back with a sledge! I tried multiple things but it is what it is I guess.... poor design maybe.

Being as you replaced front end parts, can we assume the ride problem is in the front end? We have an '08 T660 and I think it rides great. What truck are you used to?
