Somehow every horse in my stable has ended up sitting on regular Peterbilt Air leaf...short of replacing the whole rear clip...I'd like ideas for improving the ride quality. Fwiw shortest is 240wb longest is 270wb. None seem to ride very well. I am slowly getting them converted to tall rubber which seems to help some. I have set the ride height according to spec. Is there any brand shock that would help? Not sure shocks effect ride that much on air ride though. I have read post where old timers say a lot of the ride is from the front axle... Any thoughts on adding a Canadian loadshare kit on the front? And any body have direct experience with it and its impact on ride quality? As always thanks in advance. RW
fwiw...this is a copy of my post on LCM...did not get much feedback there except for a pointer from Kevin....so thought I'd see if Iget more ideas here...thanks

I just rebushed the rear suspension (PAL) on my 379... the ride is 1000% improved over what it was... granted mine was way overdue BUT it rides better than when I bought the truck 8 years ago.
The front end is part of the ride, too. New springs may help... I'm rebuilding the front end on mine with 12,500# springs ... surprisinly the OEM's were 9500#.
Good shocks make a big difference, too. they keep the tires on the pavement... you won't get a smooth ride with the tires bouncing down the road. -
Make sure your cab air ride isn't defective and bottoming out.

Make sure all the bushings are good and put new shocks on it. Its pete air leaf not much you can do to it just be lucky its not air trac. My air trac rides like a tank.
