So its the cameras fault that you were accused , not the idiot that accused you wrongly.
I get it , its the messengers fault.
When are you guys going to stand up to the real issues.
Its not the camera but the stupid policies and even stupider interpretation that is the issue.

What "rights" do you have guaranteed by the Constitution when it comes to your employer or lease on to a carrier? Speech? Hardly. Religion? Nope. Searches? Not on their property or in their vehicles. Been that way since 1787 before the ink was dry on the Bill of Rights. Those only apply to governments, not private employers. And you can always do the principled thing if you feel your "rights" are being abused by an employer..... leave. No one is forcing anyone to stay with any carrier. If they come up with this stuff, then just clean out the truck and go home. If you own the truck, pull it and go elsewhere. If you really want to put your money where your mouth is, then do that instead of whining like a little school child that had his cookie taken by the the class bully.

The cameras we install run on a 30 second loop, and only save the information if there is enough of a jar to make the camera save the video and upload it to the data center later. Noone can just log in to your camera, and if you're not out hitting everything in sight every 15 seconds it isn't recording. The sheer amount of bandwidth having these things record constantly would cause the internet to come to a crashing halt in a few hours.

The systems we install run infrared at night which is attached to the ignition, if you're sleeping at night with the key off, it can't see a thing.

You are wasting your time explaining.
No one cares , they have their minds made up that they are the victim and the camera is out to get them.
Facts have nothing to do with anything when they are out to get you.
