That is a solid attitude to have. Good on you. When I started out, I planned on switching after 6 months also. Wound up liking it and stayed for 2 1/2 years before moving on to what I really wanted to do. Jumping ship after only 6 months usually winds up only being a lateral move at best from what I read on here. Keep your record clean, stay positive, and make the best of each day and you will go far.
