In school, should I apply now or wait until I get my CDL?

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Passport, FAST card or Enhanced CDL opens more opportunities.

A common misconception. The actual issue is that there are many short drivers.

 

Schneider veteran here....

I can recommend Schneider -- but only as a last resort.

The pay is on the lower end -- & the training period is very short.

The tanker division there is a bit too much like being in the military.

Coraopolis is also where tanker training is. Good location for you.
I did hazmat/tankers for 5 years, running 48 states & Canada. No regrets for that, was a very good experience.

 

And yes...indeed you can.

But life there will likely be anything but/nothing close to "laid back"....
