Haven't been there, just docks where you can't turn out if another truck's hooked up on either side (or maybe you can, but that would be trial and error for me, and I feel the need to err on the side of sitting there). I don't know, there was an old Kenworth that had a shorter turning radius... apparently some docks were designed for different equipment.
So far I'm not improving on no-line backing. Looks about the same in the mirrors either way, and my doors obscure any vertical lines on the dock (these are crooked buildings for sure, in one way or another). Might try leaving the doors closed, then...
Inconsistent dock lines, etc.

When backing in to dirt docks, I just try to nail the previous driver's tire tracks.

Why do some shippers block half or more of their entrance with trailers, then complain when you're blocking their drivers, while you're waiting to park? If you ask me (or I ask me), they're blocking their drivers.

The caves in Springfield Mo or the SpaceCenter in Mo can give you a workout.

I thought I had it bad, I've got a place I go to every week where the dock is hidden behind a dumpster from the street and it is under a canopy with hardly any light, I have to turn into the dock blindside, with bad reverse lights hoping not to hit anything. It may take me three tries to get it into the dock right so the plate can be lowered (which by the way is from the 19th century and is on a chai fall). All of this while dealing with truck traffic on a street where they do not stop for anything. I can't approach it the other way because there is no place to turn around except onto raw railroad tracks and the last one that did that got the truck stuck and cost the customer $2800 to get it removed and the tracks fixed.
