From now on that Crowley foods, who have multiple plants in upstate NY and who are owned by HP HOOD are no longer going to pay detention until after 4 hours instead of 2. Is anybody else experiencing this kind of "driver ripoff" from any other area of the country? So many of us are short changed now, does anybody think a petition online to Washington would do any good?:smt011

Ditto! Your company negotiates detention times prior to the load being hauled.
And usually a driver doesn't know what they pay. The company just gives you a cut.
It's possible your company just told you that and they are pocketing it.

    zentrucking and Breastman Thank this.
