It's sad how people actually get upset when they see other people who have a positive attitude lol.

Hey stabob I didnt come here for a nice truck, I just happened to get one. Also, IRT has about 500 trucks and a few people coming on a site telling their bad experience means its that way for every driver there??? I dont think so. Its funny how some people think like that.
If you guys want to bash IRT go start your own thread. This thread is about my experience with them. I will tell good and bad. As for now its good.
Like I said if you guys don't like IRT great, don't work for them. If you think they are a bad company there is a place for that but its not here.Last edited: Jun 23, 2014

I loaded in Coopersville Mi last night and delivered 350 miles away in Waupun, Wi. That was a short run but week ends Monday at midnight and that finished my week up. 3100 for the week.
I am deadheading to Chaseburg, Wi 150 miles to pick up a load of milk in the morning going 880 miles to Shippensburg Pa. I will deliver Wed afternoon.
So far so good. Nothing to complain about.Spring Chicken, hal380 and Goldenfan Thank this. -

Does IRT take recent grads? From your post it looks like you guys are running all around me. Chaseburg isn't that far away in the gods country side of the state.

Man I love Wisconsin its beautiful!
I almost positive you have to have a year experience.
The way I have been running in the Midwest, Wisconsin would be a good place to live and work for them.hal380 Thanks this. -
That's what I thought according to their website. Thanks
hal380 and Deadhead75 Thank this. -
Deadhead I worked at irt so I just thought I'd throw my two cents in. Good luck to you. But did you really read the hundred something page thread we had going? You will see a lot of negative on there just saying. If it works out there more power to you I just like to be paid when I work so I had to leave there.

Yes I really did read every bit of it. Iurked around this site for a while as a guest. I saw Mitchtazz was one of the main characters and he worked his butt off on the east coast and Canada. Randyred ran team with his wife. Just a couple off the top of my head.
Once again you are still talking just a few drivers out of the 400 plus they have.
Let me say that when I went with them I was in Florida already had quit the job I had and didn't want to go all the way home and said what the heck I will try them. I was scared because of the negative but so far I am surprised. I am happy right now. Sure it could turn to crap but I hope not.
Drivers are different with what we will put up with and what we wont put up with, ya know. What is good to one driver is horrible to another.stabob, The Challenger and hal380 Thank this.
