...we can't blame you patty, i'm right behind you on this , there's just no $ in it anymore and it just gets more dangerous every day.

...take a good look at these poor souls living in trucks & camping in parking lots and its not hard to imagine what danger there is passing one of these drivers at 4am on a two lane through Ohio.

....no thank you! !!! & you can keep your little pay checks and your fancy death machines

Good morning, people make fun of flipping burgers but I bet it pays more then driving truck.Meaning those workers aren't on a short leash don't have the cops and carriers watching your every move.My health took a dive so I'll never go back to driving trk.Its actually a real good feeling to get out of this industry.

Even if there was a company that paid that I wouldn't be able to do it I don't need to be wrecking my health any worse then what it is now.

i will be leaving as well, in about another year, a s my time is coming to an end. i can only hope that i can get away in good health. too many non-professional drivers out here, and it is getting worse from that end.

Then we have the government stepping in putting clamps on us more and more. it is our our fault really. as an industry that is powerful in numbers, we do not stick together and enforce our own rules, we simply say "i ain't got the time for that, i'll let someone else do it".

well, that someone else is our politicians, lawyers, anti trucking groups, and a few others that "do it" and they have "DONE IT" to us, all in my opinion, at the fault of us.

as i am impatiently waiting to retire, i don't even give a flip about the future of trucking anymore.

we as i said, screwed ourselves.

    we are ALL TO BLAME!
