I am coming to Indiana from South Korea on Saturday 28 June and am interested in becoming a truck driver in the near future.
I am curious if anyone would be willing to allow me to be a rider on a local trip or maybe a 2 day trip. This is probably asking a lot but thought it would be worth a try, foods on me !
Also would like to meet up at a truck stop and discuss a little about trucking even if a ride is not possible.
I just thought maybe someone who might be stuck doing a long break.
Also wondering about local companies and cdl schools around Indianapolis / Kokomo that maybe I could visit.
I have a few places in mind but if anyone has any other info I would really appreciate it.
I will be there from 28 June-21 July feel free to post here or pm me , Thanks

Didn't you post this exact same post over a year ago?

Oh and check out the stupidest fuel island location in the country. On top of an incline with the lines in the middle of the road.

Would be interesting to see what my old post said.
I am just really burnt out in aviation and thought I might try something a little different and move back to Indiana.
I am 60 and ready for a change , I have traveled a lot out of America and ready to move back.
I have posted a lot of questions on here asking about trucking. I plan to work a few more years and thought trucking might be interesting. -
I can't offer a ride along since I drive team, but I run that area frequently and may be there this weekend (who knows). If I am there it will be at a truck stop some where north of Indianapolis on I-65. I will probably be able to chat for a while and answer as many questions to the best of my knowledge. You can also check out the truck to get a good idea of the living spaces you would be in.
A lot of drivers might have trouble trying to get you a ride along due to insurance restrictions, but you might luck out. I'll give you a heads up if I'm in the area while you are there.
I know how you feel about aviation. I spent 5 years in Marine Corps aviation and I just didn't feel like doing it any more.dennisroc Thanks this. -
But after that just PM me if your around.
I understand about the ride and insurance thing but thought I would give it a shot lol
I enjoy flying and working on my airplane but been working on others a lot of years and like I say burnt out.
