    You were legal. Send a copy of your signed BOL with the delivery address to the court along with a copy of the citation and demand a dismissal. You are allowed a direct route to / from the Interstate to your pickup / delivery point.

    ^^^^ That what i thought, told her i just made a delevery 1/2 mile down the rd,but she said no. Has to be an access rd or you need an oversize permit period. Loaded or empty delivery or not, going to your terminal or not. I'am going to dig dipper into this and fight it.

    Better yet... just quit driving in/out/through NY... See my previous comments on the subject in the other thread talking about NY road use taxes.

    In NY, you're allowed one mile from the national network. It doesn't matter why you went further, 1 mile is 1 mile. If you want to p/u or del further, get a shorter truck.

    It sucks, but that's the rule. I turned down several loads to NY because of how far off the national network they were. I wasn't about to get a ticket for it.

    Thats a real good solution. You would need about a 210wb or shorter to be legal. Basically a cabover if you wanted a sleeper.
