Hey freightliner,
Thanks for the come back, but, could you be alittle more specific in what you've heard? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks again ,brother -
My husband and I ran team for DHT for 6 mos in 2007. We couldn't get any miles out of them. They promise a bonus for anything over a certain amount of mi per mo but the only time we ever got it was the 1st mo we worked for them. after that they would cut us off when we got close [for teams its 20k a mo and we would get to 18 and couldn't beg borrow or steal a load] they would send us to laredo where we would be 18 or 20 on the list out. We fussed with them for months then finally just gave up and went to TLI.

Hey womandriver,
Thanks for the get back, now that's what I'm talkin about. This would be a good reason not to go with 'em. This is the kind of info I was lookin for. Anymore out there? Thanks again Sis

well as I said I have and would never work for them.I have heard from many of their drivers that the miles are hard to come by,if your a single driver thay will try to force you into a team with a total stranger,I had a freind who worked for him and i was at the terminal in mountain city tennessee one day to chat with him and a dispatcher was outside talking to one of the other drivers like he was a dog.I could and would never tolerate being talked to that way.Like I said I live here in mountain city tennessee and their is nothing good said about danny herman in this town.Danny himself dont run the company anymore his son and daughter does and thay seem to know about as much about running a trucking company as I do flying a 747 jet. It's your call gotta do what ya gotta do...I have no reason for any hard feelings agnist them because like i said i have heard way too much to get tangled in their web of BS. Have a good one and be safe out their.......
Papa Bob Thanks this. -
Thanks again freightliner,
You're right, brother, I wouldn't tolerate bein' taked at that way either. Maybe a good thing I don't go with them, I'd probably go to the grey bar for awhile if a dispatcher talked at me like that, and I'm not a violent man. It seems that there are too many other companies that go down the tubes when the kids take over. Such a shame, when pops worked so hard to build it up. Well I guess I'll keep lookin' cause I don't have to go there.
Thanks again, brother

Had one of their trucks sitting next to me all weekend. Temperatures the first day ran around 60 degrees. Second day around 50 degrees. At night temperatures ran a little cooler and at times the driver would get out of the truck for hours. All this time his truck sat idling all weekend long. Dont understand why the excessive idling.
