Info on East West Trucking out of Swannanoa, NC?

Wondering if anyone has information on this company. Good, Bad, Ugly.

Considering getting into trucking and they offer On the Job Training for CDL.
Seems like a decent deal as long as its a decent company

Here is the text from their latest posting on indeed:
Tractor Trailer Driver Trainee
East-West, Inc. - Fletcher, NC 28732
$800 - $1,300 a week - Full-time, Contract
WE ARE NOT A SCHOOL. WE TRAIN FOR OUR OWN COMPANY AND GUARANTEE A JOB ON GRADUATION. We pay you while you train, increasing pay as you work toward lead driver. In return you sign a ONE YEAR legal employment contract and if you do not complete your part you will own us $4000 for the training. Most schools cost $5000 to $6500. The training is in two parts. Part 1 consists of studying for your CDL learners permit (should be one week). Then driving with our trainer on local pickups and deliveries (home every night) until they feel you are ready to pass your CDL Class A test. During this period you are working Monday - Thursday.

Part 2, once you have received your CDL Class A, consists of 10 to 12 trips to the west coast and back with a lead driver, with them teaching and correcting as needed. On these trips you are normally out 4 to 5 days. At the end of this time you are tested with your trainer's recommendation for a lead driver and as such can earn from $800 to $1300 per week depending on the route you are on and the number of days you wish to work.

I have also read that during the training they pay $600 a week straight.

 

Not worried about meals or lodging. Have family to stay with. Pretty sure the towns are right next to each other.
