give it a try dude, i'm sure you'll do fine. just keep in mind you'll have to run at least 2200 miles a week to cover your cost. anything after that goes in your pocket, minus taxes of course. so if your lucky enough to ave. 3000 miles, you should ave.$550 a week take home. sound good? go for it, tried to warn ya!

I just got a job offer from JR, and from reading the posts here they seem like a really good company, just got a couple questions. How much do they start their drivers at? Do they have a pet policy? Do they use APU's? Do they allow you to use inverters for your personal laptops or coolers?

I'm going to orientation next week, they said I'll start off at 36cpm and I have 12 years of OTR experience. That's cool I been away from driving for two years so glad they are not letting me do a refresher course are ride with someone else. I hope this will be a good come back company for me,so far everybody been nice to me but I'll know more next week...stay tune!!!

Well I'm still here,I tell ya right out of orientation got my keys to the truck
Looking it over and heard a beep sound,it was my computer note from dispatch
Telling me I had a load to pick up,and since Friday of last week I been rolling. I like it so far
as long as they can keep me rolling I'm good...stay tune for more later.

I saw a bunch of Schugel Trucks rollin down I35 today! Anybody know if they'd hire me? I've been out of the truck for 15 months, and my most recent year of tractor trailer experience was local P&D...no OTR for over three years! Maybe I should just fill out the application and see what happens...
