:biggrin_2553:if that caused a headache, maybe you might take some bayer or something to help the blood flow. maybe take a walk, get the circulation going. truckin's hard on the body. shouldn't be getting a headache from that. maybe it's the lighting. what's up? got another?:biggrin_255:

better post something... hmmm. Still with J&R for..2 1/2 years and still hauling. miles are down some:2245 last week and this week was off to a rocking start till it started snowing on donners pass.
drop a load here in cali on the 11th and preplanned for a pick up the same day (1880 mile run) that delivers monday.
I will get a weather reset and deliver tuesday or wednesday. Run to somewhere for 1200 to 1899 miles that will set me up for a nice end to next pay period (Around 3600 miles) if I dont get lazy. PLUS a good start on the next week.
THis is how it goes here. planners are improving at getting me preplanned, but it did take a while for them to get used to how I run.

i can tell you don't pull flats, well, neither do i. around $11,000.00 invested on top of my lease payments and they pull the plug on flats. even after landing the john deere account. here's a good one. why don't you tell them about the weeks with no pay check. if 329 is your truck #, you know what i mean. if anyone wants my advise, stay away from these thieves! they will steal you blind!

I had a good run with them last year till the wife got sick and I had to come off the road. Im looking at returning after Xmas. They kept me running decent. I would complain if i could, they are good people as far as trucking goes.

they'll run ya in reefer, don't know about pullin a box. straight screwed me and several others in flats. nothin new i guess. just a different name. but they got alot of reefer frieght if your into that. trucks set at 65 company side. i wouldn't recommend L/P cuz that's where they nailed me. say what you want. $35,000 dollars in 12 months paid to them just for the truck is alot of money, and i still got for months yet on that year. lot of weeks with no paycheck. about 8 or 9 in 2009. so you can listen to the bull or the facts.

Company boy here. The 329 does NOT refer to a lease truck. I realized I did not make that clear.

I do pull a reefer. I dont know about flats or dry vans at J&R, But they keep me busy as I have said before.

I will have a week without a paycheck. I decided after that run over Donners Pass that I would take this week off to be home for my daughters 4th Christmas. I got her a bike and I just have to be here for that.
(I was offered a run to give me 3600 miles next week).

So there you have it. The great lucky329 (WHICH IS JUST A USER NAME) has refused a load and stayed home. If there is a short haul tomorrow, I will consider it. There is a big storm on the way. I made my choice.

I hate sitting like everyone else and I get a wandering eye, but if the company you are at is not for you then go looking. as for me, I am looking for a place to retire. I am 41 years old and not ready for the stress of another company.

To clarify; The Monson I hauled for was based in Duluth, MN. and is no longer in business. I have no experience with any other monson.

I pray everyone has a safe and happy Christmas and New Year!
