Last week I was talking to one of their drivers, we were both making a p/u in Carlisle, Pa. and he says they treat him very well and he was very impressed at how they bent over backwards to make sure he was home for Christmas. I have someone in my general area that drives for them but I can never seem to catch them when they are at the truck have considered leaving a note on the truck to get some feedback. But so far I've only spoken to the one driver.

Welcome to the Forum Crosseye! I'm happy anytime I see a driver with your years of experience join up. You're already in the spirit of the forum, trying to help out and all. I'm a wannabe so I appreciate it when experienced drivers are willing to share their knowledge and experience. Again, welcome and thanks!

Any Schugel co. drivers out can tell me about the companies trucks? Recruiter told me 2007 and newer and that all co. driver trucks are APU equipped. Set at 65?

Flatbed division has been shut down. There is no one running flatbeds for J&R schugel. They should update the website.

    Young-Gun-101 Thanks this.

J&R schugel had gotten rid of most of the automatics because of poor fuel milage issues.

j&r schugel is on their way out. watch what i say. brad schugel is running things and he has his head way up his ###. i would reccomend you look elsewhere. look at arrow and tmc, when the kid takes over, the business fails. i'm no longer with them. when i was pulling flats for them, rick schugel would send a message every week to my dispatcher saying i owe money so run me. in dec they pulled my headache rack off and forced me to pull reefer. ran all through christmas and new years and was paid $30. no that's no a typo. $30.00 is what i was paid for two weeks of running over the holidays. i'm not saying you won't get the miles, all you got to do is suck up on brad and he'll take care of ya. i'm a hard worker, can't pucker worth a dang. rick would send him the message and he would toss it out, never made it to my dispatcher. want to play games with your pay, your livelyhood. your wife, kids, food on the table? go ahead and give them a try. don't say you weren't told or didn't know. they will screw you fast!
