Anyone had much experience with Prostars?
    Are they any good?
What are they like to work on?
Any links to under bonnet photos?

I drove a Company Prostar a few weeks back, and am a big fan. Cabin layout is good, sleeper was set up well with plenty of storage. Really dig the ride and turning radius. Made tight backing alot easier.
I know if you check out the JCT thread on this forum

Many of those guys drive Prostars, and all seem to have good things to say.
    Fuel mileage is top shelf.

I am a tech. I really like the Prostars. They aren't too bad to work on either, as long as you get the longer hood. Biggest thing is to stay far away from the Maxxforce engine right now, Get an ISX instead. If International would raise the quality of their wiring by one notch they would have pretty good truck!

I don't own one, I have a Intl 9400, but have looked them over. The one feature that really attracted me was the way the front bumper unlatches and allows a person to walk right into the engine compartment. No more fighting to fit between a bumper and a steer tire. I liked a lot of other features but that one was a real eye opener.

They claim they proved the Prostar was more fuel efficient than a Cascadia . But the Cascadia had 55 more horsepower . That is an indentical drivetrain ?

One thing I have noticed about the prostar. they seem to have the front & side ground effects real low to the ground. I would be afraid that in snow it may do damage to the skirting.

They are pretty low, they have a rubber flap at the bottom of the skirt which makes them look lower.
