Thanks! I was curious. Figured it could be about the same.

The thought of a new driver hauling gasoline scares the gas outta me too! I have the utmost respect for those that do that. I know myself well enough to know that it is not something I am comfortable thinking about doing.

    YeAH!
I'm thinkin' that the secret to successfully haulin' gas is to NOT think about what'cher thinkin' about when you're thinkin' about what'cher doin' when you're thinkin' about it instead of thinkin' about what you know you're REALLY tryin' not to think about when y'all would rather not think what'cher thinkin'.
    Ya think? :biggrin_25526: :biggrin_25523:

Seriously though, I knew a driver who used to haul gasoline, but decided it was time to haul something, ANYthing, else. He made that decision because he said he kept seeing sparks while unloading. He said he was pretty sure those sparks were in his imagination, but he feared that one day, that imaginary spark just might be the real thing and he could vividly imagine what would come after the real spark.

About the only commodity I think would be scarier to be hauling than gasoline is liquid nitrogen. Instant freeze.
Just my luck I'd fall down and shatter into a million little pieces.
And they say Humpty Dumpty had a great fall? All the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put Humpty together again.
Big deal, Humpty fell off a wall. At least the King's horses and the King's men could FIND Humpty, ......, again.
Who'd take the time to gather up a million little pieces of me? Let alone tryin' to put me back together, ........ again.

I think I'll stick with haulin' bovine excrement. Nobody even WANTS to get NEAR me. And I've NEVER had a D.O.T. inspector climb under MY trailer. :biggrin_25512:

Funny post AfterShock! I hear ya on the liquid nitrogen. There's a place near where I live that hauls that stuff, and every time I see one of those trucks, I keep picturing the bit from the Terminator movie! I'll bet the DOT guys don't want to climb under your trailer!
