stay away from it. they'll sign u to a truck that's worn out & in desparate need of repairs that are beyond overdue, plus all you'll is run nyc. they're famous for that. when i leased my truck onto them in 03 that was the biggest mistake i could've made. they are not what they make themselves out to be
-
They lease out 12 cascadias and T700 with ful warranty get your facts right
-
ok so they bought new trucks, big deal; u still won't a penny with them.

I'm with National Carriers right now and I won't give you an opinion, good or bad, I will just tell you what I am doing and going through. I left home time six weeks ago and here are my miles from then. Week one was so bad I combined it with week two at 3783mi for two weeks. Week three I did 1819mi. Week four, 2865mi. Week five, 3089mi. Week six, 2250mi. In week seven now so I don't have a total yet. I am in a lease and after truck payments, my take home is $253 a week average. My miles average is 2300mi a week. I have gone broke in only 2.5 months working here and I have been looking for another company. I've been a driver for ten years and this is NOT my first lease. I've made money leasing before and know how to do it. When you break even at around 2000mi and they only give you 2300mi average, it's just impossible. they seem to have good loads but it appears to me that the load planners are not very good at their job. For instance, the load I just dropped had 1300mi on it BUT, I was given four and a half days on it. They also say non forced NYC for company and total non forced dispatch for lease. I found this not exactly true when after I turned down a NYC load and received a phone call from my dispatcher. I was informed that because I turned down a NYC load, they will make me sit for an undetermined amount of time, and they did. That week, I got under 1000mi. Tolls and scales they do not pay for, deadhead miles have no surcharge at .88mi and some of there deadheads are over 500mi. When your hired they give you a $500 fuel credit. The credit is just that, a credit, you have to pay it back at $50 a week. The trucks are ALL brand new but they have NO APU's on them. With all the sitting time and idling in this heat, it's costing me 1mpg. That equals to $100-$200 in fuel a week. there's other problems I see here but this was all the major stuff.
Now I am NOT saying this stuff is going on company wide, this is just what's going on with me.DocRox Thanks this. -
