Well on Febuary 13 2009. I tore my rotator cuff. And I have not drove since. I had been driving for sixteen years. Good driving record good work history. If I ever get my shoulder well does anyone have any suggestions about getting back into trucking. Who could I contact. I live in NC. You can reach me at tdriver629@charter.net.

Your best bet would be to go through an accredited driving school for a refresher course, then go with a mill company for a year of OTR.

After that, you should be able to write your own ticket.

He doesn't need a refresher until the 3 year mark. You just have to get released by the doctor and update your medical card.

I would get back asap to avoid the refresher stuff.

Well I will proably go pass three years of not driving and being out of work. It is just unreal how one second can change your way of life. When you get hurt. If anybody has advice they can email me at tdriver629@charter.net.
