Now there's a great ad for WS if I ever saw one!!!!!!!!! What's not to love about that?

I agree, sounds like someone who just can't cut it which isn't unusual, not everyone can...

I too have met or talked to many that post here and each was in a truck, not an office recruiting...

I also will make between $45-50K my first year which ends in 2 weeks and my CSA is fine...The only time I failed an inspection was due to worn out emergency cross tubings and after inspecting the removed parts, they weren't even wore and still usable...I also see no scrutiny at scales...

And I still call receivers I haven't been to previously to see how they take deliveries, just showing up hoping for the best is a sign of poor planning AND it's not dispatches job to do that for you...Doing full time LTL now, I have to do it a few times a day and sometimes I end up with trying to fit a 53'er into a space designed for a horse and buggy, I don't sweat it...I either can or I can't and have no problem telling someone I can't get it in there and have yet to find one receiver that didn't do what they could after seeing I did everything I could to make the delivery happen...It'll never be for lack of effort on my part...

Welcome to the industry. Every OTR carrier is like this. There is more to the job than just holding a steering wheel.

Just wondering how many drivers does that make that you have met? I only ask as I do not feel like trying look through ws threads to count them myself.
    I am overly impressed.
His complaint on this must be legit then, if they are regular customers should not have to call to verify every time.
That only works if you know how to route yourself, I am guessing that you do.
.25cpm is starter company money, it is like what you would make working for Werner who you seem to like to pick on though I am not sure you have ever worked there, have you?
Not sure myself what he means, but probably accidents with fatalities.

This raises my question of when did you work for Werner? I do work for them and the only time I made that little money is on a 2 day week. No that is not the average, but it can be done at Werner just as you state it can be done a Watkins.
You may be right about the reply, I do not know about the turnover nor do I care.

Your CSA score is high even higher than Werners for maintenance as of 3 weeks ago. Your score is or was above the threshold for intervention.

You are right about the trailer issues and what drivers should and are supposed to do. Obviously there must be a decent amount of drivers in your company that do just say F it or your score would not be so high.
The LTL thing may be true, but once again why good luck at Werner? Seems most of you WS cheerleaders here seem to like to pick on Werner and that does not bother me much other than you really do not have facts only what you here on this board.

I do not consider myself a Werner cheerleader as I have issues with them myself, but as a job goes I work, I get paid and they work for me in the area I live in now, and yeah I grossed over 47k my first year with them and go up every year.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Since you are letting it all hang out, how much are you making a week between the .25 cpm and stop pay? I assume you are still there by what you said.

i've met a good 20+ members from this forum, not counting the 5+ that I've met from YouTube/FaceBook some of which are on here too.

We pick on werner because they are hands down one the the 5 worst companies to work for. If they work for you great, nobody is bashing you just the POS company that treats most of their drivers like sheet.

i agree with most of what you said so no need to break it down. But who should we be sucking up to? I'm seriously asking because i know for a fact my name has been put down on 50+ applications and almost all have been hired and almost all are still here and I havent seen a single dime, nor do i expect one.

And i would also like to add to that, that i know allot of people in various office positions within the company know who we are on here and that none of us are getting anything for posting on here or anything else other then working.

Trust me if we those who you are sugesting "suck up" were doing that we wouldnt post some of the things we do.
