Yes, Watkins proves that to be the case or their safety record would be way out of proportion to other companies...The problem is the schools and companies don't do a proper evaluation of someone's abilities and don't find out they're not cut out until AFTER they have a problem...This isn't rocket science, schooling and minimal training after school should be sufficient for someone with the ability to succeed...

I tried to get a local job with them here in Vegas, not to great in pay, just $14.50 per hour, they end up giving the position to a company otr driver

 

Why are there so many WS drivers that love a company that pays them .25/mi?

 

Thats not to bad in my neck of the woods if you get O/T. I was making $15.35/hr plus O/T up to 70 hours until pay cuts hit us just to haul bales of recyled paper from a warehouse to a paper mill. Didn't matter if you run 2 loads or 5 loads a night it still paid the same. Have to admit it did get old running the same strech of road numerous times a night but the money WAS good.

 

pay starts at .25cpm and i grossed over $45k my first year here even though i started at .25cpm and only drove 133,747miles.
