That's the problem with fiberglass tall boys, they can't take the hate from trees and bridges.
The 102-inch stainless steel giants just take the lickin' and keep on tickin', although you might have to straighten them out with an attitude adjustment once in a while.Metalshadow, mike5511 and jessejamesdallas Thank this. -

Idk, I've had several antennas that I could get a perfect match on.
If you're trying to match a transceiver to an antenna, and cant get it matched, its usually something else other than the antenna itself. From what I've seen, its usually operator error.
I was dumb enough to buy a Cobra 200 GTL DX about 12 years ago. Matched it up with a Wilson fiberglass on my Mazda B2000 and talked like crazy. -
Even though the Stryker had a reflect of one watt (.007%) and the Sirio's was two watts (.013%), they are both so low that discussing the difference is an exercise in hair-splitting.
Even if the match is slightly less, I'd think the Sirio's whip of 79 inches compared with the Stryker's 63 inches would be more of a discussion point relative to performance comparisons.
Both are good antennas, but from the operators' reports I've seen, the extra beef in the sky generally trumps a marginal SWR / resonance match differential.rabbiporkchop, Crude Truckin' and BTShepp Thank this. -
