if you have one of your eGR's go down on you, replace it yourself. I did. took me 2 1/2 hours and 3 beers. so save yourself some money and do it yourself.

yeah, was 1st one I had to replace in about 4 years due to the delete kit I have on it

you did relatively quick for never having done one before. just make sure you ran all the wires properly that's the number 1 cause of egr going bad. no matter what you did to the valve if the wires short out it will derate and throw a code almost always unless a lot of programing has been done

Yep, did that, and thanks for the help in identifying the #1egr. Very easy to do. Hardest part was taking off alternator to get to the plug behind it.
