installed trans but looks to be wrong transmission.

i forgot i had parts guy phone number and sent pics, Trans has to come back out. he was pretty pissed. HE had the correct part number but they disputed with him. He said he will make things right

 

I guess it would be possible, but the shifter boot would be all distorted. Anyhow, talked to peterbilt. i had a cell phone number. After a few pics and the issue, he called back and the trans has to come out.

 

hahaha. Thats great brotha!!! Seriously thats how i feel but ######, is what it is right. Lost my 5 year old dog a month ago to cancer and then 3 weeks ago, i took my other dog to get teeth brushed and cist removed and they told me she has large mass on liver. After surgery a week ago they told the mass was cancer. Alll i cared about in life was my dogs. So with the transmission thing and new clutch, i thought this would be fun and upgrade my truck to higher torque components, its just more bad karma. I live under a dark cloud. Nothing good for me this year just bad luck. Everything near me turns to #### so dont come near me. Stay away from green 379 peterbilt. Driver is marked

 

i just hope things get better for me soon. i cant take it much longer bro. Just need at least one peice of something good.

 

dam thanks for this! YEah, the shifter location wasnt something i noticed becuase its not super far off. not something you would check if you didnt know anybetter. So i just went a head and torqued down everything.

 

you have no idea how many times i banged my head and drew blood while crawling from behind the trans jack pushing trans in and crawling up front to measure alignment. Other than that, she went in pretty easy. HEy, i get to do it again. maybe ill go into the clutch replacement bussiness
