battery operated are pretty pricey but you can get an air operated one for little to no more then a hand pump. then just put an air chuck in your air tank so you can plug in an air hose

I'd never priced 'em. I just know they make it a lot easier when you're on your back under the truck and have a stubborn zerk that the end of the hose doesn't wanna stay on.

I would go to an automotive store. Make sure you buy one for a commercial vehicle.
You will also need to buy grease. It comes in a tube. You need 3 of them. It will take around 2 tubes to grease your truck and trailer.
Make sure if you buy a grease gun to vidio tape yourself putting the tube of grease in it. I bet watching you wrestle that grease gun would be hillarious.
I will help you if you buy one.

What about those rolly skateboard things for your back.. how do you get under there?

I can't park my truck right at home, so this is a real PITA. I also rarely sleep at truck stops, generally on uneven terrain or in pitch dark at shippers/receivers.

Wayne another problem I have is that I never planed on owning trucks again and have spent the last 7 or 8 years selling off my shop equipment. I don't have any big truck jack stands left and the only bttle jack I have left that is big enough to lift the front of a truck with the motor in it leaks like a SOB. I actually have to use two bottle jacks. the big leaky one and a small one I have that won't lift it truk but will take enough pressure off the big one so that it doesn't leak so bad. I REALLY don't need to drop the truck in my driveway. lol

Like the other guys said make sure it has a rubber hose. The ones that are solid are too tuff to get on all of the fittings. You need to start with a manual gun. I can talk you through how to use one of them. If you buy an electric one or air operated one If you have trouble with it if I may not be familiar with what type you bought. Like MM said you need HIGH TEMP GREASE.

Creepers are a PITA. Most of the time I could crawl underneath the truck from front to back quicker without one.

I can't park my truck at the house either, but I can go do some work on it where it sits. I park at a convenient store with room for about 6 trucks that's just a block away In fact today I've gotta go recharge my A/C and clean it good.

I spend more time under my truck in the truck stops then inside it.

And considering the bathroom habits of most drivers that's a very disturbing thought.

So basically you're all saying that instead of sitting here in my underwear getting some much deserved social time with my trucking buddies, I could actually be out there under my truck greasing it instead.

That $25 sounds better and better all the time:yes2557:
