Getting back to the original poster. I am not quite sure but I thought I read somewhere that you don't need car insurance in New Hampshire... it is not obligatory. But as for trucks I am not sure. Would be an interesting topic to investigate.
The rear 8 on the tractor were done by the dealership before I took the truck. The 8 on the trailer are only a year old since the trailer is a 2009. That only leaves the steers. And I'm told 20 years ago trucks didn't even have front brakes.
No, you don't need car or motorcycle insurance here in New Hampshire. You do have to have all the required insurance on a commercial vehicle the same as everyone else if you run your own authority. I don't know if insurance is required on a truck that just runs local or only for itself. We also don't have to have the FMCSA inspections done on our trucks and trailers. We only have to have a New Hampshire inspection done on our truck every 6 months and 12 months for the trailer. There are also a few other states that have inspections that supersede the FMCSA one.
I just finished doing the Rain-X. I'm not sure how good it will be because it was in between drizzles out there. It's like conditioner in your hair... you're never sure you got it all out.
