Just break out the ol' wallet and head on down to the local jewelry store. she should be happy after that
Pharm What are you plans for Monday. Are you going to try to get your truck into the shop at Charlott?
That would go real well with a large bunch of "What can I do to make it up to you"s and a side order of the Honey Do list. Happy Anniversary!
I'm SOOOOO glad I didn't marry a woman like that. My wife doesn't even have her ears pierced and if I bought her a diamond necklace she'd kick me in the nads, return it and but a winch for her jeep.. lol
My feelings on it are complicated. See I'm not a big fan of leasing-on myself, I think it is a tax you put on yourself from not doing a little bit of research. It turns out there are a lot of people leased on that really don't know how close they are to having their own authority, I think they think it's a bigger obstacle than it really is. I paid $300 for my authority, yet there are people who pay thier own tags and insurance and still want to lease on to me or others. How can I justify charging 10% to throw my numbers on the side of the truck?? Well other companies don't seem to have a problem offering this service, and I'm sure there are a lot of other considerations, liability being the main one, so you never really know what you've made until after a long time line. You can pull in weekly money for a couple years then have to deal with a devastating accident and puts you both under, so it's risky. Anyway, it's not only the authority money but the 12k you lose in income for the month waiting, and this guy is really pressed for time and I'd like to help him out. He already pulls hoppers/dumps so there is no experience consideration or equipment to handle.
Shop definitely, but I actually think I'm going to try this other shop I was told about in the other direction and much closer. I'll give them a try and see if it works out. If so it would be better and easier to get to. At minimum I need windshield wipers working, I'm not going through what I did yesterday again, that was terrible. The rest I seem to have a work-around for if worse comes to worse. I don't like the stress of impending failure but I'll deal if I have to.
To the clicking sound, my first bet says loose ground at a main terminal/corroded terminals. Maybe not, but it would certainly be the easiest place to start. The relay, if you pushed it in and it worked, I'd replace it just to be sure. Check the power side wire carrying power to your inverter. Sounds like it could be cut and faulting/grounding on something. First place I'd look is where it comes out of the sleeper to the batteries. The Volts check on the Alternator was 13.7? Fine on volts probably, but he should've also checked Amperage output. Just because it's throwing out 13.7 volts does not mean it's throwing enough amps IMO. 13.7 at 100 amps isn't enough if you need 175 amps of power. Batteries. If you have one bad battery, it'll screw up the other two/three right quick like. Go to an Advanced Auto parts or a Napa store. Pull the cover and have them check out the batteries. It'll likely cost you nothing except the ride over there. They can, and will if you ask, check the alternator also. If none of that solves it, then maybe go to the dealer.
