    Sucks dude... add it all up. You been out about 3 weeks and these trucks take every extra penny there is :biggrin_25513: I wish I could say it's over for a while but this is a regular thing. Call ya in a bit.

    I knew it would be a while due to the holiday weekend and needing to order parts. Fingers are crossed for tomorrow I guess, but I don't know.

    Granted they are not Yokohama, Goodyear, or Firestone but I called
    my tire man a couple days ago for a friend of mine and he could have
    put the fella TWO NEW drive tires for $550.

    Sometimes if you got the couple exta $20 dollar bills and can get the
    price right it's worth it to spend it and get virgin tires.

    Turns out I really need to get paid out by Eclipse to get down to GA with the truck. Additional day delay.

    But caught another break, only the one piece of the mount needs replaced. The other bellhousing mount was ok, so that's $170 less than expected.

    ,i think the belt just let go,or it had a bubble i didnt see in the dark with a flashlight jimbob,but the outside tire is what i thought went,was realy surprised due to the slice in the side,,oh and coon ### i agree but if i had found it where i was at a frind of mine gave me the same prices but i was a little to far away for a road call,sucked to had to wait till 8 am to get the tire ,there low profiles??????if i was back down sout i can get drives for 225 a pop roadmaster or yokoyamas

    hey rob ,i knew what i was gettig into,trucks ,heavy equipment ,cranes,their all money pits,the key ingreedent here is maintence,maintance,maintance,if you take care of the small crap,the big crap dont normaly fail,the key is oil and filter changes ,grease,and check of unnessary wear on items,fuel filters,and a good driver keeps a spare set of filters for fuel,never know but you #### sure can tell when she aint running right and changeing $25-30 dollars worth of filters can save you $$$$in fuel and injector repair,or and injector pump that get cloged upwith crap from tanks that have sat,with low fuel and get water in them from condensation,alot of little tricks to keep your self running and no major repairs,,,,,rob and most important ,that pete of your is not a car, some things are simular looking but their like day and night,,,,,if a trucks well maintained,you should only have to due your services and tires,,,,hopefully from the sound of you on the phone ,this issue with your truck has humbled you and i truley hope you take time to learn how to take care of your truck,,dont be afraid to ask question after its fixed hands on fixing will help the mind understand what to look for and how not to let what just happen, happen again,,,,,,,,may the force be with you oh big purple hippo of the hopperbottoms:biggrin_25522:
